So I have a few not all the answers to my questions, quite frankly I stopped reading becuase it was making me depressed. We are in bad shape people.

I did find out that 75% of all global fisheries are already, exploited, over-exploited or depleted, so fish will not save the day.

Lamb. Pork and Chicken are pretty much as bad as beef.

Dairy not so bad so I am not going to even contemplate being a full vegan.

Anyhow, Ill find more answers, here are some links I found useful.

Didja forget about mad cow infections, can they infect dairy products through the milk ~ I don't know why it wouldn't.

Remember that ergotism has laid many near vegans low in Europe.

Ergotism is the effect of long-term ergot poisoning, traditionally due to the ingestion of the alkaloids produced by the Claviceps purpurea fungus which infects rye and other cereals, and more recently by the action of a number of ergoline-based drugs. It is also known as ergotoxicosis, ergot poisoning and Saint Anthony's Fire. Ergot poisoning is one of the explanations of bewitchment.

Oh my god Louie, that cow picture cracked me up.

All is not lost, Louie. Kosher meats conform to very high standards.

Don't know if you have access to Tyson brand frozen chicken but they sell breasts that have absolutely NO steroids, additives, drugs or anything else added. They don't make a big fanfare or charge extra for that--I never would have known if I hadn't read about it in Consumer Reports. ..
